- OPTIMIZED FOR SOLAR: Make instant measurements to determine solar irradiance (0 to 1400 W/m2) as required by IEC 62446-1 standard
- VERSATILE: Measure solar irradiance, panel temperature, array direction, and inclination
- The PV78 includes a compass to find the predominant direction and a tilt function to verify the inclination of a roof or panel
- Compact design with external temperature probe (for continuous measurements), and 9 V Alkaline Battery
- SIMPLE: Wireless METERLiNK connectivity to quickly collect and share your findings from the field
The FLIR PV78 is designed for solar site surveys, panel installation, and maintenance of photovoltaic systems. It allows for instant measurements to determine solar (irradiance in watts per square meter) as required by IEC 62446-1 Electrical Safety of PV installations standard. You can measure temperature by placing the meter directly on the panel or by connecting an external probe for continuous measurements. The device also includes a compass to find the predominant direction and a tilt function to verify the inclination of a roof or panel. With FLIR METERLiNK® Bluetooth® technology, you can wirelessly connect to the METERLiNK app on mobile devices, enabling instantaneous documentation, reporting, and sharing of results from the field.
